Insurance Ops Coach

Prepare cleaner commercial files—with review still in control.

A guided submission-readiness pilot for commercial insurance teams. Staff work through approved carrier playbooks, missing items are flagged early, and a manager reviews before the file moves.

This is a narrow industry pilot. It supports preparation only. It does not quote, bind, underwrite, submit files, or guarantee carrier approval.

Missing

A manager still reviews before anything is sent.

The coach flags gaps. Licensed people decide what happens next.

What it helps answer

Complete the file before it bounces back.

01

What is still missing?

Check the submission against approved playbooks and flag blockers before a manager spends time on it.

02

Which guidance applies?

Use carrier-specific requirements for one product line and jurisdiction, not a generic checklist.

03

Who signed off?

Keep manager review and an audit trail on the file so preparation stays accountable.

Best for

Operations teams who already know the file should be cleaner.

  • Commercial brokerages with repeat missing-information issues
  • Newer staff preparing submissions against carrier guidance
  • Operations leaders who want a consistent review trail
  • Teams that can approve two playbooks for one product line

Not this product

People stay responsible for the decision.

  • It does not quote, bind, or underwrite
  • It does not submit a file on anyone's behalf
  • It does not replace licensed review
  • It does not claim carrier approval or faster turnaround until a pilot measures it

A narrow first pilot

One workflow. Two playbooks. A clear review trail.

  1. 01Agree the product line, jurisdiction, and who reviews files
  2. 02Capture two manager-approved carrier playbooks
  3. 03Run guided intake with blocker and warning checks
  4. 04Keep manager approval on every file that moves
  5. 05Review the audit trail and decide whether the workflow is worth expanding

Insurance Ops Coach FAQ

Questions before
we get started.

Does this replace producers or underwriters?+

No. The coach helps staff prepare a more complete file using approved guidance. Licensed people still review, decide, and own the client relationship.

What does a manager still review?+

Exceptions, judgment calls, and whether the file is ready to move. The pilot is designed so a person remains accountable for that step.

How is client information handled?+

The pilot is scoped before work begins: which files are in, who can see them, and what is stored. We use the minimum information needed to test the workflow.

Do we need to connect our agency system?+

Not for the first pilot. Start with a defined intake path and approved playbooks. Integrations are considered later only if they make the workflow more reliable.

What is included in the pilot?+

One product line and jurisdiction, two approved carrier playbooks, missing-information checks, manager approval, and an audit trail. We measure completeness and review effort on that narrow scope.
